Tasmanian Gourmet Online delivers a taste of Tasmania to homes and businesses across Australia and the globe.

We provide over 1200 premium gourmet and artisanal products from up to 150 Tasmanian producers and makers. Operated out of our farm-based business in the Huon Valley, everything we offer is Tasmanian made.

As a sixth generation Tasmanian, I am passionate about our island state, its stunning environment and the diverse stable of fine food and beverages produced here. Establishing Australia’s French truffle industry through Perigord Truffles of Tasmania gave me the opportunity to contribute to that stable – producing the nation’s first French black truffle in June 1999.

Our products are carefully selected from the diverse growing regions of the state including the lush, rich soils of the Northwest, the extended growing seasons of the East Coast, and the fertile horticulture and farming districts in the south.

Many of our products come from small artisan producers scattered throughout remote locations and small towns across the state. One of my greatest joys in running this platform is working with these producers and experiencing their passion for their produce.

Not long ago, some of our products were only available at small farmers markets or local corner stores, it is an honour to now share that produce with the world.

As the state’s food culture evolves, we can offer nationally recognised brands such as Pyengana Dairy Company – producing cheddars in the northeast for over 100 years, and Wellington Apiary gathering honey from the foothills of kunyani, alongside vegan plum puddings from Bruny Island and Persian Love Dates from Cygnet. Check out Tasmania’s food history in our book section.

Our gourmet hampers make your selection easy, blending a variety of cheeses with condiments, fine wine, small goods, and sweet treats or perhaps you’d prefer to create your own.

Enjoy!
