Following an exceptional year in the vineyard, this single vineyard Gewürztraminer has been produced for the very first time. Whole bunch pressed after hand-picking, it was fermented naturally in stainless steel tank to retain great freshness and fruit purity. After 11 months maturing on full yeast lees, the wine was bottled unfined, in March 2019.
This Gewurztraminer displays complex aromas of rose petal and turkish delight, musk sticks and tropical fruits, with underlying sweet spices. The texture is oily and rich with lovely balance and faint acidity, making it the perfect food pairing for spicy Asian cuisine or cheese.
