Anvers Chocolate Tasmania contains a real chocolate taste sensation. It is located at Latrobe, Tasmania, in the property formally known as "Wyndarra Lodge", a stylish Californian bungalow house which was built in 1931. Set in 2.2 hectares of old tree gardens, the property features trees from around the world.

Igor Van Gerwen, the owner and head chocolatier, acquired his know-how from his birthplace, Belgium. Ivor began making his own high quality chocolate out of his garage and has taken it to the world. Anvers creates fine chocolates, truffles, pralines and more.

Anvers favourites include single origin Dark Fortunato No.4 from Peru, made from certified “Original Cacao”. Thought to be extinct, these cacao beans were discovered ten years ago in the Maranon valley in Peru.

Besides Chocolates, Anvers also offer Chocolate book called Chocolatier. Chocolatier by Igor Van Gerwen won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award “Best in the World” during the Saudi Feast Food Festival in Riyadh.
