Kit Hiller
Kit Hiller lives on the North-West Coast of Tasmania. Born in Hobart and trained at the Tasmanian School of Art, she has exhibited her art for over thirty years.
Kit’s watercolour portraits have been shown in the Archibald Prize exhibition on five occasions and has won the Portia Geach Memorial Award for Women Portrait Painters three times. She produces landscapes of the North-West Coast of Tasmania, still-lives and portraits but it is best known for her hand-coloured lino-cuts, elimination lino-cuts and dioramas.
Nicole Peta Designs
Nicole’s illustrations are largely inspired by everyday life in Tasmania. Nicole’s background as an Architect encouraged her passion for continuous sketching. This has led her to pursue a career in illustration using watercolour and ink. Nicole lives in Hobart with her husband and two young daughters.
Her greeting cards offer the ideal canvas to express yourself, celebrate or let loved ones know you’re thinking of them. These handcrafted cards feature native flora and fauna prints, carefully detailed using watercolour and ink.
Deborah Wace
Deborah Wace is a renowned Hobart-based botanical artist, fabric designer and professional printmaker with a deep-seated connection to the natural environment. Celebrating the uniqueness of Tasmanian plants and flowers, each of her designs is an intimate artwork that creates a window into the botany of Tasmania’s wild and often endangered plant communities: from its threatened native orchids and marine plants, to species only found deep within the threatened temperate rainforests of the Tarkine region. Deborah uses her artistry to create real conversations about habitat loss and biodiversity, inviting a deeper and more informed and sustainable connection into the natural world.
