Southwood Wines is a vineyard in a beautiful part of Tasmania (actually all of Tassie fits that description!) around 45 minutes out of Hobart on the way to Port Arthur.
Kellevie is a ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ spot, filled with dairy cows, sheep, goats, olive growers and lots of small farming families growing amazing produce destined for forward thinking restaurants and rustically charming farmers markets around the south of the state. Oh… and this region, roughly described as the East Coast, is home to great vineyards, growing world class, award winning grapes and producing superb cool climate wines.
It’s one of the reasons we chose to plant pinot vines. The other reason is simply that we are passionate about Tasmanian wines and particularly passionate about Tasmanian pinots. Our exciting challenge is to grow and produce pinot noir that we are happy and proud to drink and share…we’re hoping you are too!
